After the success of the previous three years, UCLan Cyprus and the University of Cyprus are organizing PenTestCyprus 4.0 on 13th of April 2019, hosted at UCLan Cyprus premises, under the auspices of ISACA Cyprus Chapter. The event aims to continue raising awareness on emerging topics in information security, while offering a networking platform to meet people and share knowledge and experiences. Moreover, contestants aged 14-25 years, will have the opportunity to participate at the Cyprus Cyber Security Challenge (CCSC) through which the National team is selected in order to participate at the European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC).
PenTestCyprus training sessions will be delivered by experts in the field of information security, informing us of latest trends in information security technologies, and how we can defend our systems from compromisation.
The competition is open to all people who have an interest in ethical hacking and will give them the opportunity to test their skills in a state-of-the-art for Cyprus, CTF competition.
This year, we are holding an Entry Level CTF, alongside the Regular CTF we have been doing for the past years. The Entry Level CTF will contain challenges from all categories at an entry level of difficulty. The goal is to introduce more information security enthusiasts into the world of competitive CTF. The Regular CTF will contain challenges from different categories at different levels of difficulty.
Compete and have a chance to win important prizes!
We will have giveaways from our sponsors and provide certificates of attendance to everyone as well as certificates of accomplishment to those that will make it through the challenge!
